The begining and the end

Seriously this has been a wonderful journey and I’m glad to have shared it with you.

Perform on stage – What Black Women Want – This was a life changing experience, one I will never forget for the rest of my life. We performed in The Fairfield Theatre in West Croydon. I worked with such a lovely cast and made some really good friends out of it. The audience was amazing and really got you fired up to play a really good character. I never thought I would be good at acting, but this has given me more confidence to pursue this.

London Fashion Week – All I can say is how amazing was this experience! I’ve always wanted to go to London Fashion Week and it really did live up to expectations. It was so good to see an actual catwalk show where famous people were looking for the latest trends. I felt like I had to make an effort to dress well as everyone was watching.

Los Angeles and Las VegasI cannot even believe I am writing this, but I went to LA and Vegas! It was so unreal and amazing, I feel so blessed to have been.  I was like an excited child on the entire trip. I stayed in Santa Monica and drove the 4 hour trip to Vegas (I know I drove on the other side of the road). I visited so many amazing places such as Hollywood, Calabasas, Beverly Hills and The Grand Canyon. This picture is the view from my room!

Swimming with Dolphins – I have always wanted to do this, but when you actually go to do it and see the Dolphins it’s a little daunting. You forget that they have little personalities and you have to be gentle with them. They were friendly, well behaved and cold to touch. Very cute though and I would like to do it again.

Drive a Range Rover – Yup I actually did it, I drove a Range Rover and it was beautiful. I have always wanted to drive one of these cars and I was given the privilege to actually do it. The drive was smooth and felt really comfortable. I would love to own this car!

The secret task - This one has been complete with great comfort and that's all I'm giving away on that one.

So if I'm not mistaken I've done it! All of my 30 tasks! What an achievement and a great comfort to know anything is possible.

Nearly completed all my tasks

FENCING
I believed that fencing was a sport for the elite upper class, but I was pleasantly surprised. I actually really enjoyed it, it was fun, fast paced and a good work out. The suit itself was quite heavy and got pretty hot. Whilst wearing it I felt a bit like a bee keeper, but I’d definitely like to do it again. You’d be surprised at the types of people that fence, from 10 year old children to a man in his 70s, it really is a sport for everyone.

FALCONRY
Can I just say I am actually frightened of all forms of animals, birds etc, so I have NOOOO idea why I put this on my list! I held two birds of Prey and it was scary. I fed them fresh chicken on the bone and they ate the whole lot! The birds were heavy and not the best looking birds ever. It definitely was an experience.

PAINTBALLING
Now, before I went paintballing I was aware that when the balls hit you it can be quite painful and indeed it was. I became quite competitive and won the game. I wouldn’t do it again though as I’d prefer not to have so many bruises on my body! I played in a group and it’s a great way of meeting people and making new friends. It did feel a bit James Bond like.

WALL CLIMBING
I LOVED this and will definitely do it again. Initially I was scared to go up to the top of the walls, as they were really high. However, once you climb one wall, you want to do them all. It was so much fun going to the top and looking at your accomplishment. It’s a bit like life, you think you can’t do things, but then when you reach your goal you should look back at how far you’ve come.
